Congratulantions to Firies GAA football team, who won the replay of the East Kerry Junior Championship in Killarney, on Sunday 4th November.

They defeated Currow by 1-6 to 1-3. It is seventeen years since Firies last won the championship.

There were jubilant scenes as Mrs. Kathleen O'Sullivan presented the Owen O'Sullivan Memorial Cup to Firies Captain, Donnie McCarthy.

Tommy Quirke, Firies Cross, deservingly got the Man of the Match Trophy, presented by the East Kerry Board.
