The draws for the O'Donoghue Cup, and O'Sullivan Cup, East Kerry Championships was held on Thursday 25th September at 8pm in Gleneagle Hotel Killarney.
Fossa, Legion, Spa, Dr. Crokes, and Rathmore, recieved Byes to the second round. 1st round games are Currow v Listry, Gneeveguilla v Kilcummin, and Glenflesk v Firies, first named teams had home advantage.

O'SULLIVAN CUP QUARTER FINAL GAME 2nd November 2025
Glenflesk 1-16 Legion 0-17
On a nippy afternoon at Legion's Direen Park, it was the home team - who had got a bye into the quarter final - got off to a quick start with Thomas Moriarty putting the ball over the crossbar in the first minute, it took Glenfeslk a little longer to get off the mark 4 mins in, but when they did they got 2 points in quick succession through Tommy Bowler and Jamie Moynihan, 2 mins later Legion struck back again with a nice point by Thomas Moriarty. Legions Daire Murphy got two more points, 2 mins later one from a free and one nice point from the field of play, Glenflesks goalie kept them in it with a great goal save.
Legion had most of the possession and both sides were very accurate. Legion had the first wide after 12 mins, but were still ahead 0-04 to 0-02, 2 mins later they notched on the first two ponter from a free by Jeff O'Donoghue, but Glenflesk quickly replied with a point from Aindi OCarthasaigh leaving the score 0-06 to 0-03. Glenflesk registered their first wide after 18 mins but 2 minutes later Callum Cronin passed a nice ball into Micheal Mullane who slotted the ball into the net, to leave the sides level at 1-03 to 0-06.
Legion replied quickly, and converted a free through James O'Donoghue. 2 mins later Daire Murphy slotted over a free to give Legion a 2 point lead 0-08 to 1-03. Both teams were very passoniate and things got heated. But Glenflesk's Killian O'Sullivan reduced the deficiet 2 mins later to one point. Legion's Tom Brosnan streatched the lead again with a two pointer to leave the score 0-10 to 1-04. 28 mins into the first half tension boiled over resulting in 4 yellow cards, two foe each team, and 2 mins were lost in the sorting out of it.
A minute into xtra time Legion's Peter McCarthy got a lovely long rang two pointer, 2 mins later Glenflesk struck back through Jeff O'Donoghue, leaving the score at half time Glenflesk 1-05 to Legions 0-12, 4 points between the teams.
2 minutes into the second half, Legion got caught with only 2 players in their own half, and because of diccent the ball was brought foward for Glenflesks Jeff O'Donoghue to slot over the free for 2 points, leaving the score 1-07 to 012 and in the space of a minute they notched up two more points through Jack Rudden and Michael Mullane, to leave thing all square at 1-09 to 0-12.
But 9 mins into the second half Legion took the lead again through Daire Murphy and Kevin Looney, but Glenflesk's Michael Mullane only reduced the deficit by one point with a blistering shot that could have ended up in the net. 2 mins later the umpire signalled a pont for Glenflesk but then quickly changed his mind to a wide. Legion had the majority of the possession but were wastfull with 3 wides in a row one from a free, specially when the there was only a point between the sides.
16 mins into the second half Legions goalie Conor McCarthy saved a goal chance that ended up going out for a 45, which Glenflesk took short and Killian O'Sullivan put the ball over the crossbar to level the match 1-11 to 0-14, 2 mins later history repeated itself Legions goalie saving a goal to give Glenfesk another 45 which again they took short, and Tommy Bowler slotted it over the bar closer in. A minute later Killian O'Sullivan floated a high ball into the square for Jeff O'Donoghue to punch over the bar to extend Glenflesks lead to 2 ponts 1-13 to 0-14.
But 22 mins in, Legion got back into the game with a nice 2 pointer from Thomas Moriarty, to level the match at 0-16 to 1-13, but Glenflesk reacted quickly and took the lead again with a nice point from Jeff O'Donoghue. 4 mins later Darragh McCormack found himself all on his own with the ball, and he took a nice point to extend Glenflesks lead.
After the 30 mins the ref booked a Legion player, and then awarded Legion a free at the same time which they converted to reduce the deficit to one point 0-17 to 1-15. 3 mins into xtra time Glenflesks Jamie Moynihan got the last score of the match with a fine pont, there was another 2 nevry minutes before the ref blew up the game to leave the scorline, Glenflesk 1-16 Legion 0-17.
